Different countries function very differently. Today I'd like to share with you a collection of stories that exhibit the strengths and weaknesses of the socioeconomic systems we experienced in Taiwan, Indonesia, China, and the USA. More importantly than that, I hope it sheds some light on what life was like and why some of them function better than others.

The following set of events led me to really seek out who I was and what I stood for. In the end, it turned out to be yet another Crazy God Story!

In the face of impossibility, He will make a way if it is truly His will.

This week I'd like to share with you the story of how I met my future bride at 7 years of age ...while living in Taiwan. I hope it serves as a lesson that if it's God's will that you get married, He can bring you a spouse in ways that you might not see coming! Just trust Him.

My wife and I have lived most of our lives outside the US. Both our youths were in Taiwan. Then we worked in Taiwan for two years, Indonesia for 9 years and China for 25 years. Also I've visited Europe about 15 times where many of my 1st cousins live.
